God IS here friends… he is here, and he has heard your requests of him. Some of you have been asking the Lord for very specific things, and he has heard you.
There is a reason why what you’ve been requesting has not come yet.
It is not because God is not intentional about blessing you and giving you the desires of your heart (“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4, ESV), it is because God is requesting of you what you have not asked.
God is asking you, “Do you trust me?”
“Do you trust me enough to walk with me?”
God is desiring a home with you; he is desiring a home on the inside of you (“And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” – 2 Corinthians 3:3).
He is requiring a place of worship, a holding place for his spirit to rest and dwell (“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.’” – Revelation 21:3). He is requiring a space and a place to call home – it is on the inside of you. He is requiring and requesting this of you.
He will not bring you this far in the hopes that you would give up. He has and will complete what he has started on the inside of you. A transformation (“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Romans 12:2, KJV). A process that is uncomfortable, and unknowing to the one that is being created (perfected).
(The Potter’s House:
This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.” 3 So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. 4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me. 6 He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand,Israel. 7 If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, 8 and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. 9 And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, 10 and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it. – Jeremiah 18:1-10, NIV)
But God is with you. The bible says that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5, Matthew 28:20) . For his place is home (his resting place; the resting place of his holy spirit). His spirit is in you, and if his spirit is in you then who can be against you (Romans 8:31)?
Take this scripture and know that God is watching over you, and at the appointed time, God will bring all things to pass:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” – Jeremiah 29:11, KJV
